John Ratcliffe-Lee

Hello!  I’m John Ratcliffe-Lee! I work for MSL Group and am one of the newest members to be contributing to the General Motors Northeast Region’s website.

With the exception of a rogue year living with our friends to the north in Toronto, I’ve spent my entire life living in New Jersey.  After finishing up at Rider University, studying Journalism/Multimedia Communications as well as Advertising – I went head first into being a large part of the local alternative & indie music scene in Northern New Jersey.  I followed bands around, took pictures at their shows as well as designing and developing web sites for them.  My personal love for photography & web design led to an internship at one of New Jersey’s largest public relations firms in their design & build department.  That role transitioned to a full-time opportunity with the agency and eventually I became one of the core members of their social media team.  I’ve since moved on from that first agency and call MSL Group New York my home now, as a member of their social team here.

When I’m not manning the wild, wild web, I still love learning about technology and how it’s impacting and changing the way we communicate with each other.  I love playing tennis, taking my camera with me wherever I go, driving some of the great roads of New Jersey and hoping one day I’ll learn how to make my own beer.
