Lauren Indiveri Fitapelli

Hi, I’m Lauren Indiveri Fitapelli, one of the ladies of the Northeast Region Communications team for General Motors.  Currently, I'm working for GM in Kansas and not actively posting on DrivingTheNortheast.com.

I was born and raised in New Jersey – yes a Jersey Girl through and through! I went to Rutgers University and majored in Communications. After college I spent a few years developing my public relations skills at a couple of agencies before landing my spot at General Motors. Some of my favorite parts of my job are spending time learning about the ever changing social media landscape and assisting in the organization and execution of regional events.

And a little more about me…I love to travel and have been to some amazing places. I always buy local art and unique souvenirs to bring home and put around my apartment - they remind me of my trips. I absolutely love my Puggle, Gus (keep your eye out for random appearances from him on our site)! I am also an avid reader, studied photography in college, am a certified scuba diver and have been skydiving. My two favorite foods (it’s a tie) are mac n’ cheese and grilled cheese. And on that note, I am a firm believer that the only things in life that are worth the calories are dark chocolate, cheese and wine.
