Baltimore Auto Show

Roger Roberts of Baldwin, Md., says he has seen the future and it is the Chevrolet Volt. “It is unbelievably smooth and quiet,” said Roberts, who test drove the Volt at the Motor Trend International Auto Show in Baltimore. “It is nothing like I am used to.”

Thousands of eager car enthusiasts and potential buyers poured through the doors of the Baltimore Convention Center where we captured first hand their excitement around Chevrolet’s new models. While the Chevy Camaro and Stingray concept car stopped spectators in their tracks, the Volt stole the show. Even Peter Kitzmiller, president of the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association, asked a photographer if he wanted to take his picture in front of the Volt.

CBS reporter Mike Schuh put together a nice piece on the Volt as the Roberts took it for a spin.
