On Saturday, June 23, GM Northeast spent a sweltering afternoon beating the heat for a preventative maintenance workshop, test ride and drives, and car seat safety checks at Fort Belvoir Army Base in Fort Belvoir, Va.  Paul, from Lindsay Chevrolet, and a few of his friendly staff, as well as Torine, from Safe Kids, came out to give folks a few pointers about their vehicles.

Before and after the preventative maintenance workshop we held ride and drives of the Chevrolet Traverse, Volt and the Equinox Fuel Cell.  Lindsay Chevrolet also brought along a sport-tuned supercharged Camaro SS, to show off at the base.

The workshop was a great opportunity to learn a thing or two about changing a tire, rotating tires correctly and what to look out for when your cars tire treads get low.  The Safe Kids demonstrations helped make sure people were properly installing their child’s safety seat. Attendees also received handy giveaways courtesy of Lindsay and ACDelco.

A big thank you to Lindsay Chevrolet and Safe Kids for joining us on Saturday!
