On Sunday, September 23, Cadillac hosted a group of premiere African-American publications and D.C. influencers for the nation’s capital version of “Cadillac Conversations.” During this exclusive media brunch, a conversational interview takes place with Don Butler, Vice President of Marketing for Cadillac, during which he provides insights into the upcoming product offerings from Cadillac and highlights Cadillac’s commitment to diverse communities.

Here, he is joined by Jocelyn Allen, GM’s Director of GM Regional Grassroots and Diversity Communications (center), Eric Peterson, GM’s Vice President of Corporate Diversity (2nd from right) and publishers of African-American media outlets from around the country.

To welcome them, guests entering the W Hotel Washington found two Cadillac XTS Luxury Sedans on display upon their arrival. The luncheon was a smashing success, as members of top outlets from all over the country were in attendance. Jocelyn Allen, Director of GM Regional Grassroots and Diversity Communications, moderated the discussion and also set the stage for the GM Foundation to present a $100,000 grant to one of the world’s finest Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs), D.C.-based Howard University. Eric Peterson, GM’s Vice President of Corporate Diversity, was on hand to congratulate Howard for this grant, which will be used toward its science, engineering, mathematics and technology (STEM) curriculum.

The afternoon culminated with guests mingling and joining their fellow XTS “stars” on the red carpet outside of the hotel.
