Chevrolet kicks off its Centennial this month with celebrations at the Indianapolis 500 and in New York City with our nation’s soldiers and visitors during Fleet Week, where Chevrolet continues to salute and support America’s heroes.
Chevrolet will be hosting a vehicle display at Pier 86 on the West Side Highway and 46th Street, on the platform before you enter the Intrepid. A Camaro Convertible, Cruze ECO, Malibu and Equinox will be on display for soldiers, family, friends and car enthusiasts alike to check out while enjoying the air show and holiday weekend.
And we encourage visitors to bring along an old cell phone to donate, as Chevrolet will be collecting Cell Phones for Soldiers at their display. These old phones are redeemed for overseas calling cards for use by military families — an important and economical way for families to stay connected while serving our country.
Display Hours:
Friday, May 27 – 10:00am to 8:00pm
Saturday, May 28 – 10:00am to 8:00pm
Sunday, May 29 – 10:00am to 6:00pm
Monday, May 30 – 10:00am to 6:00pm
Chevrolet and the military have a long-standing relationship, dating back to the early days of manufacturing and production of the brand. And while 100 years have passed, Chevrolet still “designs, builds and sells the world’s best vehicles” and continues to salute and support America’s heroes.
Come down with your cell phones and donate them while you are at the Chevrolet display!
