Located right across the Vermont border, Hathaway’s Drive In Theatre is North Hoosick’s very own gem—representing a true tribute to the American Experience in upstate New York. This past Tuesday, July 31st the GM team traveled upstate to host area residents at Chevy’s Night at the Drive-In. Chevy owners were treated to free admission to the screening of The Dark Night Rises. Prior to the screening, movie-goers had the opportunity to take the Anniversary Corvette for a spin and enter for the chance to win VIP seating in on-site Chevy vehicles.
As the fourth owners of the theater since its opening 1948, the Greenawalt family has ensured that Hathaway’s has never missed a season. For the Greenawalt’s the theater is a true family operation, Duane, his wife and their four children all pitch in to staff the theater and snack bar during the season from late April through early September.
Many thanks to Whalen Chevrolet for providing a Tahoe and Suburban for the VIP seating section of the screening and to Greenawalt Family for their hospitality and dedication to keeping alive a part of our American Experience!
