Chevrolet Volt Helps Kick Off D.C.’s Environmental Film Festival

EFF Launch Party In Full Swing

March 9, 2012 11:23 am ET

Environmental film fans from all over the Northeast region came out to the Warner Building Atrium in Washington, D.C. last night to celebrate the launch of the 2012 Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital.  As the official automotive sponsor for the film festival, the GM Northeast team joined in the fun to give guests a closer look at the Chevrolet Volt.

Live music by the Eric Wheeler Trio, art on display by Vestibule Guerilla Gallery and silent auction items like a romantic getaway at Hacienda Tres Rios on the Riviera Maya, were only a few of the attractive offerings at last night’s party.  Guests were invited to drop their business cards for a chance to drive the Volt for a weekend and get a feel for the car’s one-of-a-kind electric experience.  The Volt was also on display for guests to get in the driver’s seat and learn more; for some, getting behind the wheel of an electric car for the first time!

EFF launch party guests visit the Chevrolet Volt table and enter to drive the Volt for a weekend.

We had a blast celebrating with fellow environmental enthusiasts and look forward to the festival’s activities throughout March!
