There may be a lot of things that you don’t know about Hershey and Hershey Park! For example did you know that the park was originally built for Hershey employees? Or that, that similar to the ball dropping in Times Square, the town of Hershey drops a Hershey’s Kiss every new year? And that there’s even a story behind the “Hinkle’s Twinkle” named lights on Chocolate Avenue?
Did you also know that over three weekends this summer Chevrolet hosted 28,000 Chevrolet owners at Hershey Park for a Chevrolet owner appreciation event? Chevrolet provided free tickets to Chevy owners in the area so that they could spend the day at Hershey with their families. In addition to the tickets, owners were also able to test drive new Chevy vehicles and learn about what Chevy has in store for the future.

Today’s urban families are always on the go as they multitask and navigate through family life at the same time. With a day at Hershey, Chevrolet provided an opportunity for owners to slow down the chaos and catch up to spend time with their families. The regional Chevy team also gave 15 blogger families their favorite Chevys to drive to Hershey Park and be a part of the appreciation program. The bloggers got the chance to spend time in the Chevy vehicles and understand the brand’s vision of designing and building cars where families can share and experience life together.
