Chevy Heats Up Summer with the City Islanders

With rides in our blazing hot Camaro convertible and temperatures pushing 90 degrees, Kicking It with Chevy Day at the Harrisburg City Islanders’ pro soccer game helped turn up the heat on summer fun!

On July 10, City Islanders fans enjoyed the opportunity to test-drive brand new Chevy vehicles, including the Cruze, Equinox, and Traverse among others, and entered to win week-long loans and a Chevy/City Islanders gift bag.

At halftime, three lucky fans took to the field and completed a Chevy-branded obstacle course.  The 1,000-fan crowd cheered as the participants raced through the obstacles and each contestant (pictured above) was awarded a week-long vehicle loan of his/her choice.

Making their home in Harrisburg, the City Islanders are a professional outdoor soccer team currently participating in the United Soccer Leagues Second Division. Thank you, City Islanders!
