Attention truck lovers!

You have to own both the ford and the chevy trucks to know which is the best. Believe me I've owned both at the same time and there is no comparison. The chevy beat the ford in every aspect except one, and that was in repair bills.I could have had another truck with what I spent on repairing the Ford. By the way I had to put a new engine in the ford at 96,000 miles. I still have the Chevy and just turned 300,000 miles with just routine mantinance like oil changes,brakes and tires. So if you are still that stuck on ford I'll see if I can find one running and sell ya.
Chevy or GMC, the only way to go. My job takes around 150,000 to 200,000 kms of travel per year. To date;
94 GMC Yukon now retired with over 800,000 kms. Still runs. It's a project vehicle now.
92 GMC 3/4 ton now retired with over 400,000 kms. Still runs.
99 Chev Tahoe sold it with 325,000 kms. Buddy is still driving it.
02 Chev Avalanche sold it with 300,000 kms. Brother in law is still driving it.
05 Chev Avalanche sold it to my son with 210,000 kms.
08 Chev Avalanche has 160,000 and still rollong along.
All just with regular maintianace. Over 2,000,000 kms with just two trannies jobs, the 94 and the 92. I'm happy.
During all those kilometres of travel, what did I see stalled on the side of the road the most, #1 Dodge Ram #2 Ford
Sorry guys.
Thanks for sharing and glad you've found our trucks to go the distance!
