Christian Savage is the Programming Director for Katsucon Entertainment Inc.   The annual Katsucon Convention, a fan convention for multicultural enthusiasts and entertainment, took place at the National Harbor in Maryland near Washington, D.C. from Feb. 17-19.

So far, 2012 is turning out to be an extremely successful and exciting year for us. One of the interesting things about this year is having the opportunity to team up with the GM Northeast team and the all new Chevrolet Sonic. This by far is a great car. Let me tell you a little bit about my adventures with the Sonic.

This past weekend I drove from Oxon Hill, Md. to Richmond, Va. to pick up one of our maids for our Katsucon Maid Cafe and another staffer for the convention. That’s 100 miles and I drove down and back on little over a half a tank of gas! Now that’s something. When it comes to saving money and driving efficiently, this car has it down.

It has power and the pick up and go you need when you need it. When I was driving, I was easily able to adjust based on traffic. This was important to me while trying to transport convention staff.

We finally made our way to the hotel, and once there, I was able to maneuver through the parking garage with no problem. The Sonic moved easily in small places and handled quickly with fast response times.

The weekend ended with awesome attendance and a great photo shoot with two of our maids from our Maid Café.  We had a great weekend with a reliable and efficient car – the Chevrolet Sonic!
