Throughout 2011, we had the pleasure of meeting car enthusiasts all over the Northeast. Here’s a quick snapshot of a man we met in Pittsburgh passionate about Corvettes – we hope to meet more of you along the road next year!
Earlier this fall, we partnered with the Corvette Club of Western Pennsylvania (CCWP) to introduce the latest Corvette models and share in the excitement of one of our favorite Chevy vehicles!
We gave Joe Haver, president of the CCWP, a 2011 Tornado Red Grand Sport Corvette to experience for a week as he traveled to the Chevy Cruze plant in Lordstown, Ohio; Cooks Forest in northwestern Pennsylvania; and cruises throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. From the photos and comments he shared with us below, we think it’s safe to say that he enjoyed his new ride!

"There I was with a Tornado Red Grand Sport and only a fob, no key... Push in the brake and hit the button, WOW, what a nice sound. " - Joe Haver
“That week went awfully fast. If you are looking for a “hot rod” right out of the box, the Grand Sport may be the car for you. Take one for a test ride and see for yourself. The quality of the interior has improved, all accessories you could ever want are there and it definitely is a sharp ride.” – Joe Haver
Thanks again, Joe! We had a great time partnering with your organization. For a deeper look at Joe’s week with the Corvette, check out his “What a Lucky Guy,” article here.
