D.C. Mommy Bloggers and GM Northeast Give Back for Back-to-School

Backpack drop off

August 13, 2012 2:19 pm ET

It’s just about that time of year – yes, summer is almost over and back-to-school season is officially here!  This year the GM Northeast team decided to team up with a couple local D.C. mommy bloggers to help make sure children who need the most support get what they need to start the school year off right.

Interns Matt and Faustine stuff backpacks with school supplies for the Operation Backpack 2012 drop off!

Victoria Mason from The Mummy Chronicles and Janine Nickel from Twofer Mom, joined us to collect, fill and drop off school supplies for Central Union Mission’s Operation Backpack drive 2012.  On August 9, Vicky and Janine dropped off 40 filled backpacks at the Mission in preparation for the Mission’s distributions on August 11 and August 18.

Thanks so much to our mommy bloggers and the Central Union Mission for collaborating on this important effort with us!
