Date My Chevy Sonic!

It’s been a week since Valentine’s Day and I’ve been asked out on some great dates… I am in high demand you know… But I’ve got a lot of road to cover and I want my little black book to be filled with choices.

That being said, I am going to be accepting date suggestions and ideas via Twitter for remainder of the contest, as well as via the online form below.

Tell me what “date” you’d like to take me on! I’m looking to try new things, experience some “firsts” and make a great impression. Our date can be as simple as a drive-in movie, parade in your hometown, or maybe even to check out the home of the Buffalo Chicken Wing… I can’t wait to see where you’ll take me.

Here’s how “Date My Chevy” works

Tell us which event, festival or activity, in your neighborhood, you think would be a great date for the Chevrolet Sonic. It can be anything from a conference or festival to something as simple as a movie release or pizza party.

Our team will select the five (5) most fun and interesting options from the submissions via the online form and Twitter. The five (5) finalist submissions will be posted to our website and our readers will be invited to vote for their favorite Chevy Sonic “date”.

The “date” with the most votes wins! We’ll bring the Chevy Sonic and if the conversation and company are good, we may even  just pick up the tab – so bring the fun!

We’ll be accepting your nominations until March 2, 2012. All nominations should be completed online by filling out the form below or Tweeting us @GMNortheast using the hashtags #GMNER and #DateMyChevy (the @GMNortheast handle and #GMNER #DateMyChevy hashtags must be used for Twitter submissions to be considered for a finalist spot. Please follow the @GMNortheast handle so we can DM the finalists for their contact information).

Submission Details

*No purchase necessary to enter a submission. Nominators must be a legal resident of the Northeast Region (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia), 21 years or older and have a valid driver’s license. Nominations must be received between February 14 and March 2, 2012.  Five (5) finalists will be featured on www.drivingthenortheast.com on March 5, 2012.  Website visitors will be able to select one (1) of the five (5) finalists from March 2 through March 16, 2012 on www.drivingthenortheast.com. The winner will be chosen and notified March 19, 2012 via e-mail and featured on www.drivingthenortheast.com. The winning date will receive a Chevrolet Sonic for a one-week vehicle loan to take on the “date”, as well as a couple of other surprises.
