High winds didn’t keep car collectors from Saturday’s Quantico Marine Base Car Show, which was held on September 8 at Quantico Marine Base, in Quantico, Va. From 10-2, cars of all different colors, brands and from many different decades and eras pulled into the Base to show off what was under the hoods and inside the car. Both residents of the base and civilians came to witness the car show, which had about 200 cars at the peak.
The General Motors team used the opportunity to showcase the Chevy Camaro and the Chevy Volt, with the opportunity for individuals to take ride and drives around the block with one or both cars. Military men and women, as well as guests of the base, enthusiastically hopped in these cars and no one left without a smile on their face. The ride and drives, 56 in total, provided people of all types to learn more about the Chevrolet cars and the General Motors Military Discount.
Special thanks to Quantico Marine Base for putting on their Muscle Car show and for allowing General Motors to showcase its cars, we had fun!
