GM Provides Fuel Efficient Transport for White House Correspondents’ Dinner Weekend VIPs

Perhaps D.C. area residents are wondering why they saw an increase in GM products on the streets this weekend.  As part of our National Journal/Atlantic Media partnership, GM provided 22 fuel-efficient vehicles and drivers for VIPs attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and related parties.

Among the guests riding in Chevrolet Volts were actress Rosario Dawson and TV producer Darren Star, who’s best known for creating “Beverly Hills 90210,” “Melrose Place” and “Sex and the City.”

The GM fleet included six Volts along with a mix of Two-Mode Hybrid SUVs, Buick LaCrosses with the award winning eAssist technology, and our GMC, Chevrolet and Buick crossovers that achieve best-in-class fuel economy.

Also, the new Cadillac XTS was featured at Atlantic Media’s dinner held Friday evening at the home of Atlantic media owner and publisher David Bradley.
