Golf fans were transported to the LPGA Futures Pennsylvania Classic tournament in style Aug. 6 and 7 at the Felicita Mountain Resort in Harrisburg thanks to our popular GM shuttle, featuring Chevy, Cadillac and Buick vehicles.
While the soggy weather at some points made us wonder if it would be easier to swim than golf, we certainly made an impression with the spectators. They raved about the Camaro (“I’ve always wanted to ride in one”) and Tahoe Hybrid (“I didn’t know they even made this!”); the Lacrosse (“Oh wow, this is a Buick?”); and specifically requested the Cadillac CTS Coupe (“Now this is better than a shuttle van”). As an added bonus, GM Northeast donated $1 to this year’s tournament charity, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, for each ride we completed, totalling $400!
We loved chatting with the fans during the rain delays and extend our congratulations to Cathryn Bristow (pictured below) for battling the tough conditions to win her first LPGA Futures tour event.
Check out more photos from the event in our Pennsylvania Classic Flickr stream.
