GMNortheast Brings Vehicle Flair to Trucktoberfest 2012

What better way to send off the summer than spending a warm Saturday afternoon with General Motors and the DC Food Truck Association.  On Saturday, September 22, General Motors hosted ride and drives of the Chevrolet Camaro and the GMC Terrain at Trucktoberfest 2012.  More than 40 food trucks were featured for the festival at Union Market where GM test drive participants received $3 off their meal to the food truck of their choice.

Union Market was filled to the brim with food trucks, with waffling smells and lines 20 people deep.   The Oktoberfest-themed event is the largest food truck festival in the region and featured a children’s pavilion with face painting and moon bounce, live music and a fire & rescue truck display.  One highlight of our afternoon was getting Lance Rozeboom of DC United in the Chevrolet Camaro for a personal test drive.
