Going Green with the Chevy Volt at Greenfest Philly!

What a beautiful day we had for Greenfest Philly! On Saturday, September 10, the sun was shining and three Chevy Volts were on hand at 2nd and Lombard Streets during the Clean Air Council‘s 5th Annual Greenfest Philly. Thousands of people attended this year’s festival, walking along 2nd Street to learn about useful green products and resources, and how they can become more sustainable in their daily lives.

We were thrilled to be part of this year’s festival, with two Chevy Volts available for test drives, as well as a brand new 2012 Chevy Volt on display by our tent.

Everyone who stopped by to visit us was very enthusiastic about the Volt, with questions about the extended range, the difference between electric vs. hybrid, and the details of charging the vehicles. And of course, plenty of people took the Volts for a spin around Headhouse Square! Check out the video below for some highlights.
