Escape the bustle of New York City this weekend with a quick ferry ride over to Hoboken, NJ. If it’s your first time in Hoboken check out these great hidden gems that Dream, Inspire, Create blogger Louise Gale curated for Design Sponge.

-Eats- With a cornucopia of options finding food should be as simple as pointing. Louise’s list covers the culinary gambit with everything from artisanal South American cooking at Cucharamama to Carlo’s Bakery seen on Cake Boss. A treat for both art and food lovers head over to Hoboken Gourmet Company this weekend where you can sample some of their homemade quiche while viewing the restaurant’s photography.

-Relaxing Spots- After an amazing meal at Hoboken Gourmet, and a day of shopping at Bella Ro make sure to find one of the many gourmet coffee houses to relax at.  Head down to Willow Avenue for a relaxing cup of bubble team at Maroon.  As a bonus for a day well spent, make sure to pick up some breakfast rolls to take home with you for the next morning!
