Going on vacation doesn’t require plane tickets and hassle, it can be as easy as packing the kids up in the Suburban and heading down to the beach for a day or a weekend. The Northeast offers a long line of pristine beaches for the family to enjoy for an easy vacation. Here’s GM Northeast’s top 3 beach destinations:
1. In the Delaware region? Why not hop over to Rehoboth Beach? With a full carnival at Fun Land for the children, and pristine white beaches, Rehoboth is the perfect place to spend the day. While you’re in town you have to try a “nicoboli” at Nicola Pizza, ice cream at Kohr Bros, and maybe an old time photo to remember your trip!
2. Not in Delaware, maybe Manhattan’s more your scene? Why not treat your family to a day at the beach and venture down to Coney Island? This historic New York staple plays host to thousands of beach goers each year. If you’re in town during the 4th of July come and see Nathan’s famous hotdog eating contest!
3. We’re not forgetting New England! Why not trip over to Cape Cod. With over 150 beaches, Cape Cod makes the perfect place to have fun in the sun! Drive right up to the beach and take a dive! Whether in a Volt or a Yukon Denali, take the family out this weekend to see what Massachusetts has to offer!
Enjoy your summer at any of these great beach destinations!
