Oct. 22 – Volt and GM at the Harrisburg LeadersHYP Summit

Attention Harrisburg leaders interested in career development, sustainability, entrepreneurship and wellness!

The Harrisburg Young Professionals will host a leadership summit on Saturday, Oct. 22, bringing  together influential leaders from the local and national economy to answer hot button questions on what it means to be a leader with a focus on green initiatives.

When: Saturday, Oct. 22 from 8 am – 7 pm

Where: Harrisburg University, 326 Market St in Harrisburg

As part of the event, we’ll offer exclusive test drives with the Chevrolet Volt during lunch and after the keynote address from Daniel R. Frakes, Manager of Advanced Technology and Vehicle Fuels Policy for the Public Policy Center of General Motors.

Frakes is responsible for environmental, climate and energy policy initiatives at the federal, state and local levels. In addition, he also works on policy issues related to advanced vehicle technologies including vehicles capable of running on alternative fuels, hybrids, plug-in vehicles, fuel cells and advance clean diesel.
