Send Us Your Chevrolet Military Salute in PA Nominations!

Do you want to honor a Pennsylvania military serviceman or woman who inspires you? Well, now is your chance!

The General Motors Driving the Northeast Team invites you to help us honor and celebrate active Pennsylvania military servicemen and women. Through the Chevrolet Military Salute program, we’d like to thank those who serve our country by recognizing their sacrifices and celebrating their time at home with friends, families and of course, some Chevrolets!

We’ll be accepting your nominations from August 22 through September 23. All nominations should be sent to Lauren Fitapelli, the GM Northeast Region Military lead, who also has a brother serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy.

Here’s how to send us your nominations for the active duty serviceman or woman you think deserves this special party!

• Download the nomination form here
• Complete the nomination form and pick out a photo of the serviceman/woman you’re nominating
• Send the nomination form, along with the photo, to Lauren Fitapelli at GMNortheast@gm.com.

If you have any questions or want to mail in your photo or nomination, simply shoot Lauren an email.

After all the nominations have been shared, our team will choose five finalists to be showcased on our site. You will then be able to show your support for your favorite finalist by voting on our website and leaving comments to inspire other voters.

Once a winner is chosen, our team will throw a hometown celebration not to be forgotten, filled with the winner’s friends, family, Chevrolet vehicle loans, and a few other surprises.

This program continues to demonstrate Chevrolet’s longstanding commitment to the military, which dates back to WWII, where we assisted in the production of wartime materials and vehicles. Our support continues today, with the GM Military Discount program, our ongoing collections for Cell Phones for Soldiers, and our support of military organizations including the Achilles Freedom Team and the Travis Manion Foundation.

Contest Details

*No purchase necessary to nominate an individual or to be nominated. Nominees must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license and currently an active member of any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces in Pennsylvania. Nominations must be received between August 22 and September 23. Six finalists will be featured on www.drivingthenortheast.com on September 27. The public will be able to select one of the six finalists from September 27-October 4 through www.drivingthenortheast.com. The winner will be chosen and notified the first week of October via e-mail and featured on www.drivingthenortheast.com. Military reward will include a one week-long vehicle loan, hometown celebration in the serviceman/woman’s honor and other surprises.
