Join us downtown Friday, September 16 for Pittsburgh PARK(ing) Day as parking spaces throughout the city will be transformed into vibrant public spaces. Our team will be there with the all-electric Chevy Volt in our parking spot turned downtown public park outside of the city’s first certified green restaurant, Bella Sera in Market Square. Stop by our display and take a seat in the Volt!
PARK(ing) Day is an annual, worldwide event that invites citizens everywhere to transform metered parking spots into temporary parks for the public good. The project began in 2005 when Rebar, a San Francisco art and design studio, converted a single metered parking space into a temporary public park in downtown San Francisco.
