Summer is just around the corner, so it’s time to start filling your kids schedule so they don’t become restless at home. Here’s a few great events you and your family can go participate in this summer to make the most of their vacation.
-Remember the days where you didn’t have to sit at a desk all day, you could go run outside and fly a kite? Relive those fond memories with your family at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn New York. Mark your calendars for June 4 at 10 am! You and your family can pile into the suburban and travel down to Brooklyn Bridge Park where they will be giving a FREE cloth-kite clinic. They will be providing loaner gliders as well as lessons for rookies!
-Maybe you’re looking to enjoy the natural scenery of Washington DC, but you can’t seem to strip your kids away from the television? Screen on The Green has something for both of you! Gather the family in your Denali and take a winding drive down to the National Mall this summer for a FREE movie in front of the capital. Share a picnic under the glow of the Capital dome this summer with the breeze at your back for these great free movies!
-Memories of the smell of barbeque in the backyard making you salivate? If you’re in the Troy area on July 14 make sure to head to 5th Annual Troy Pig Out!
