Tara O’Grady Wraps Her Chevrolet Centennial Road Trip

She came with an idea… to follow her Granny’s spirit and drive across the USA in a Chevrolet, recreating a trip originally made in 1957. One moving video and a few emails later and Tara was climbing into a brand new 2011 Chevrolet Equinox and 2011 Chevrolet Silverado with Duramax and driving across the country.

Now, more than three weeks later, 13 states and more than 6,000 miles crossed, Tara O’Grady and her road trip companion Lauren Fedders have returned home to New York. Check out her video highlighting her trip here.

And what a trip they had – making stops in Ohio, Illinois, Wyoming, South Dakota, Washington State and more, getting to the hearts of Americans to ask them, “What is your American dream?” and convincing them to sing along to “See the USA in a Chevrolet.” Check out America’s real singing talents here.
