With Comic Con New York setting the stage, the all-new, fun to drive Chevrolet Sonic made its Northeast debut, one of the first cars to ever launch at this famed comic convention!
Several Chevrolet Sonics hit the floor of the Jacob Javits Convention Center over the weekend, sporting paint jobs by famed comic book artists, including a Sonic that portrayed scenes from Rise of Magic by Neal Adams, another with images from Tokidoki, by Simone Legno and two more Chevy Sonics with scenes from The Goon and Archaia. A final Sonic acted as a blank canvas where famed comic book artists painted the doors, hood and trunk with different scenes!
And while the artistry was something to behold, the most exciting Sonic on the show floor happened to be one in the Chevrolet display that could fly… yes you read correctly… a Chevy Sonic that could fly! It may not have the agility and hero abilities of Super Man, but our Sonic took to the skies of the Javits Center to wow Comic Con attendees!
While guests dressed to the nines in their best comic book character costumes and oogled the artistic and flying Sonics, still more of our newest vehicles were roaming the streets of New York City, offering test drives to media and guests of the convention.
If you are feeling like you missed out on the Sonic’s super hero feats this weekend, you can still partake in all the other stunts, firsts, games and daring adventures that are planned… and here’s a hint – the next great leap for the Sonic may just be a bungee jump… Visit http://letsdothis.com/ for more information!
