The General Motors team in New York City was feeling the holiday spirit early this year, hosting a clothing and toiletry collection in their office to donate to the New York City Rescue Mission.

Throughout the month of November, several employees brought in new and gently worn clothing and toiletries to give to the shelter – giving a little bit back to those in need this holiday season.

Joe Little of the New York City Rescue Mission also gave a couple of employees a tour of the mission’s facilities and told our team how we can do more to help.

The New York City Rescue Mission was the first NYC shelter to open its doors in 1872 and has been helping displaced persons since by providing food, beds and opportunities to further their education.
