1. Hartland Orchard- Just outside DC, in Markham VA, Hartland Orchard has rich fields of Fuji and Jonagold apples that would be perfect in your next pie!  Family owned since the 18th century, Hartland Orchard offer’s families from the DMV a short rural trip full of memories.  Looking to see what apples are available? 2. Larriland Farm- October is the perfect time to visit Larriland farms as their best apples are beginning to ripen.  With 30+ acres of farm available to forage on your family will be making apple sauce for days! Head their fast before all the apples are scooped up!
3. Homestead Farms- Located in the DC’s rural suburb, Poolesville, Homestead Farm will be your family’s best compromise, with everything from apples to pumping for fresh picking your family is sure to find everything necessary for a full afternoon!
